Writing and sending emails in hebrew from your iPhone has never been so simple! With this new application, you can now type emails in hebrew right from you iPhone and send them to all of your friends and family! It is a very simple application with the purpose to communicate everyone in the hebrew speaking community. This application features a hebrew keyboard with all the letters, including the “sofit” or final ones; as well as basic punctuation signs. Unlike similar applications, this hebrew keyboard has larger letters and keystroke sounds in order to make writing your message easier. Also, when your message appears in your mail application the body of the text appears as it should, from right to left! As you are sending the message, the subject may appear flipped; but your recipient will receive the correct version (it is not a bug! it is just the way it works). We hope all of the community benefits from this project! We are eager to hear comments and suggestions, since we are constantly working in order to improve future versions. Shalom and Te’enu!

Update: Feb 6, 2009. We now provide a tool to search YouTube videos in Hebrew, please search for this new application under Hebrew YouTube Search. Thank you.

Latest reviews of Hebrew Email Keyboard app for iPhone and iPad

Terrible app!
DO NOT buy this app!!! It doesnt even load. I tried restarting my phone, deleting and reloading and nothing. This app flat out does not work. Please dont waste your money.
It is a start
Keyboard needs to be more responsive (I sense a delay and sometimes have to push the key more than once) cursor needs to be moveable within a sentence for editing, and should blink, and you should permit taking off the tapping sound and adding a symbols keyboard and smaller fonts.
well, if you have to
The keyboard is slow to respond, plus there are no numbers. It is also impossible to write Hebrew and English in the same message. But then again, how come theres no built in Hebrew support? Why is iPhone not available in Israel? I would much rather have a built in Hebrew support then download all these extra apps. Until then, its not bad option.

Bad app
Great start
Some details to work out, but is really useful as is.
